Doda Police Organised Carrom Tournament | KNO

DODA , MAR 18 (KNO) : Continuing its relentless efforts to provide Platform to the youth in Sports activities. SHO P/S Doda Inspr. Manjeet Singh and SI Firdous Ahmed IC PP DH under the Supervision of DySP Hqrs Doda Sh. Iftkhar Ahmed KPS Organized Carrom Tournament in Police Post DH Doda.

10 teams from different parts of the Doda Town participated in this Senior and Junior Category Carrom Tournament. Final match of Senior Category were Played between Team of Boys HSS Doda and Bagwan Brothers, which was won by Bagwan brother by 15 Points. Final Match of Junior Category was played between Team Alfa Alligators and Doda Lions, Which was won by Doda lions by 40 Points. Huge gathering from Doda Town and adjoining area witnesses the event.SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir KPS was Chief guest of the event.

Speaking on the occasion SSP Doda Said that Doda Police is organizing such events to harness the talent of the youth in sports activities and also to provide platform to the youth so as to keep them away from social evils like drug abuse and other.Trophies , Medals and cash prize was distributed among Winner and Runner up team by SSP Doda and other officers of Doda Police. People of the area appreciated the role of Doda Police in organizing such Sports events.(KNO)
